Using the motion of the car between the axle and body it pumps the shock absorber up to the unloaded level of the car. It uses no extra motor or battery. It can do this at loads up to the car's maximum loaded weight. Each level control kit is specified for a particular car variant. This ensures maximum comfort and damping at all load levels. Automatic level control gradually returns the car to its unloaded level after about 500-1,500 meters.
